the White House Chief of Staff Ron Klein gave the president Joe Biden rating-A for its suitability in an interview on the state of the Union on Wednesday.
“He is definitely in better shape than I am, that’s for sure. He is very fit, he trains almost every morning before going down to the Oval Office, “Klein told virtual interview with the Washington Economic Club. “I think his suitability, his strength are beyond doubt.”
Speaking to billionaire philanthropist David Rubenstein, Klein cited 79-year-old Biden’s performance at the State of the Union on Tuesday night as proof that being the country’s oldest president doesn’t hold democrat back.
“And I think the American people saw for themselves last night how the president stood up and gave a one-hour address that was filled with passion, strength, wisdom and energy,” Klein said. “He was seen holding the longest press conference in the history of presidents,” he added, citing Biden’s January Q&A session.
Biden had a noticeable omission during the 1-hour, 1-minute, and 49-second speech, accidentally calling the Ukrainians “Iranians.”
“People see him at work every day, and then what they see is a man who is fully capable of doing the job, fully energetic, in excellent mental and physical health, and takes on the burdens of the office and does them well,” Klein boasted. .

Forty percent said he did.
Asked by Rubenstein if Biden was “happy” with the presidency, Klein said he did not know if that was the way to say it.

“I think more importantly, I hear from people all over the country – Democrats and Republicans – that they are very happy that he is the man in the Oval Office right now,” the White House chief of staff suggested.

“And that’s why I think he has a lot of confidence in him as a person who has to be where he is,” Klein added.
Klein described Biden as “even” when Rubenstein asked if the president was blatant and blatant.
“I don’t think he’s very excited when things are going well, and when we have harder days, he keeps that composure, that behavior,” Klein said.
He speculated that this was because Biden had gone through a number of tragedies in his life, including the loss of his first wife, baby daughter and later son, Bo, of cancer.
“One thing that is true is that there is never a morning I go in there with news that is as bad or worse than someone had to tell him at other times in his life,” Klein said.
Klein, 60, continued to insist he was not in as good shape as the president.
“I want to be in better shape. I’m not very good at this. “I wasn’t very good at it, to be honest, even before I was so busy,” he told Rubenstein. “I’m trying to keep track of how many fries I order from the White House mess.”
