AGI – The White House It can be too stressful an environment even for the puppies of the Biden house, as it is a place where life is decidedly busy and unpredictable. The fact is that the “dog in charge”, the president’s dog Joe Biden, he bit again. This time the victim was a secret service agent who was treated on site by colleagues. But it is the eleventh time that Commander, a two-year-old German shepherd, has bitten someone at the U.S. president’s official residence (he also took an agent to the hospital). And now the “First Family” has to work on training the dog.
Commander came to the White House in 2021 to replace another of Biden’s dogs, Major, because he had also bitten several staffers and was therefore sent back to the family home in Delaware. “The White House can be a stressful environment for pets,” commented Elizabeth Alexander, spokeswoman for Jill Biden. “The First Family continues to work to help Commanders navigate the often unpredictable nature of the White House living space.”
According to internal White House emails released by a conservative watchdog, there were at least 10 incidents in which the president’s pets exhibited “aggressive” behavior; and there was even a time when an agent grabbed a chair and used it as a shield because Commander was barking at him from the top of a ladder.
