Big Baseball: Jorge Soler is prosecuted for throwing a ball into the stands

Major League Baseball star Jorge Soler and the Atlanta Braves are watched by a spectator who was watching a 2021 World Series game at Truist Park.

Here’s what Atlanta News First learned.

In her lawsuit, Mayra Norris claims she was “severely injured” in her right eye during the game between the Braves and the Houston Astros on October 29, 2021.

At the time, Soler wore the Georgia club colors. During a break between two innings, he is said to have thrown a ball into the stands.

Ms Norris claims the outfielder hit her directly in the face “with great force, speed and intensity”. She also said that the 31-year-old athlete’s throw “had no connection to the game or any warm-up between the players.”

The plaintiff stated that she was diagnosed with numerous fractures, edema and infraorbital abrasions.

Additionally, the lawsuit also lists the woman’s husband as a plaintiff, claiming that the incident deprived him of “companionship, love, affection and intimacy” for two years.

The amount requested by Soler and the Braves was not disclosed. The Major League Baseball club has not commented on the matter at this time. Soler, who now plays for the Miami Marlins, also did not respond.
