“You told me that you like me the way I am,” exclaims Antonella, repeating Edoardo’s words from the past to understand the reasons that led him to drastically distance himself from her.
“But how can one stay close to you?” the VIP asks at this point, emphasizing the many difficulties that arose during their meeting. “Then I’m destined to be alone,” replies the former fencer, who adds to justify her actions: “I always do what I feel like doing”.
Despite the numerous problems, however, the desire to be together is great and Edoardo states: “I can’t tear myself away from you now. I can’t ignore it” but explains that regardless of that, he knows for sure that the situation can never change because of their differences in character. “Now you just want to be with someone who accepts everything about you and that’s not healthy.”
“I liked you in everything,” exclaims the former fencer, but apologies, she again blames all the housemates who contributed to the couple’s breakup. “You will never see a lack of respect from me with my friends,” he says, concluding, “We’re on opposite tracks.”
After voicing their doubts, the Donnalisis decide to take a little break and – hidden under the plaid – they exchange tender kisses. Despite the moment of affection, however, Antonella can’t help but express her thoughts: “I don’t know how it’s possible that we like each other so much, but we can’t be together. Now we’re hurting each other.” .
Kisses and hugs are not enough to finally bring peace between the two VIPs.
The former fencer keeps repeating that she can’t help but feel free after what happened and, tired of the constant pushing and pulling, she says: “Either we move away or we stay together.”
So it’s time for the Donnalisis to put the pros and cons of her story to paper.
If, on the one hand, Edoardo tells her that very little would be enough to resolve their misunderstandings, on the other hand, Antonella continues to reproach him, accusing him of being influenced by his companions: “The basic problem is that some people feel hatred towards me. I don’t like that you don’t know which side to stand on.”
“We’re in two different parts,” concludes the VIP.
A few hours earlier, after a “reconciling” chess game, Antonella Edoardo tried to explain that in order to have a relationship, he needs to understand the reasons for their breakup.
The fencer claims that she cannot have any relationship with the radio announcer due to a lack of trust. Edoardo’s Goliardian demeanor, his strong words, his interactions with Oriana… are many little things that become huge for the VIP when they add up and turn into disrespect.
“You have to understand how things went, it’s not what you think it is,” defends Edoardo, who has long tried to explain to the fencer that he is misrepresenting what happened. His intention was not to have fun with other women or to cause her pain. He was angry, the VIP says, but he wasn’t flirting with Oriana or playing childish taunts to annoy her.
Antonella can’t help but Edoardo asks her, “If you don’t care, why do you keep telling me about it?”
“You have to understand why we broke up, you have to identify with me,” says the fencer, only then can there be a remedy, a hope. Understanding what their eyes saw and what those images might have meant to them is one way to try to have a relationship. The VIP says it is not clear about friendship or coexistence or of any other nature, but at the moment she remains resentful.
