The wait is finally over. 1088 days and six waves of COVID-19 following the Blink 182 concert during the closing night of the 2019 Summer Festival, starting Wednesday night, the Plains of Abraham will once again vibrate to the rhythm of the successes of the stars making up the turn-up of Canada’s premier music event. Luke combs
Plains of Abraham, July 8th
Over the years, the FEQ has attempted to host an annual country meeting on the Plains, with varying degrees of success. After ignoring the genre during his last two presentations in 2018 and 2019, program director Louis Bellavance may have hit the jackpot by banking on the neo-country phenomenon. Not only are the Luke Combs concerts scheduled for this fall at the Bell Center and Videotron Center selling out, tickets for the evening of July 8 are the most in demand on the internet.

Plains of Abraham, July 16
A survivor of FEQ’s 2020 line-up, who were sacrificed on the altar of the pandemic, the iconic 1990s rock band known for both their cutting melodies and fiercely critical political activism of the American government finally make their first appearance up in Quebec. Since they aren’t exciting, chances of you being picked up are slim if you miss them. We prefer to inform you.

Six years ago, after a retreat during FEQ’s opening night, she was parachuted into a disaster on the Plains to play the first part of the Sting and Peter Gabriel concert. This year she returns through the door, triumphant, conquering, with a successful debut album and four Juno awards. To celebrate its return, the festival couldn’t celebrate the occasion better than offering the Plains to the Quebec sensation of the hour.

Luis Fonsi
Are there enough Latin music lovers among FEQ believers to bring back one of its stars every year? The FEQ rolls with Luis Fonsi. Calculated Risk: The guy is the author of Despacito, the song that broke all listening records.
Alanis Morissette

FEQ 2022’s nostalgic outbursts are definitely focused on the 1990s. After Rage Against The Machine, the Ontario singer, who took to the skies thanks to the album Jagged Little Pill, is another choice for the festival.

In 2014, Canadian rockers drew huge crowds to Parc de la Francophonie. Even if the site benefits from a new configuration that will allow it to host more festival-goers, don’t bet against the odds of Three Days Grace closing the doors again.

Quebec rap has come this far: it’s now entitled to an evening of its own on the FEQ’s biggest stage. It only remains to find out who the guests of Louds Carte Blanche will be.
brown 5
Plains of Abraham, July 9th
In 2015 we were able to admire the dance steps of Mick Jagger. This year we will be able to hear Moves Like Jagger. With the popular Maroon 5, the FEQ can look forward to a very busy evening.
JackJohnson
Plains of Abraham, July 7th
A rarer visit than that of the Hawaiian surfer singer, whose commitment to the environment is matched only by the number of catchy tunes in his repertoire.
Hubert Lenoir

Love it or hate it, one thing is certain: a concert by the explosive and unpredictable Hubert Lenoir will remain unforgettable.
