During a recent discussion at a Hollywood Reporter songwriter roundtable with Dua Lipa, Cynthia Erivo, Olivia Rodrigo, Jon Batiste and Julia Michaels, the music star opened up about the awards she's received for her songs.
“It’s hard to believe,” the “Happier Than Ever” singer-songwriter said of her reaction to her music helping someone through a difficult time. I find myself like…”
“It’s annoying,” Julia Michaels then interrupted.
“Yeah, I don't really know how to believe it because I know what it's like to be in that position and it's so real. The Bad Guy singer is currently nominated for a Golden Globe and five Grammys for “What Was I Made For?” from the Barbie movie soundtrack.
