Billie Eilish isn’t fooling around on the internet this weekend.
Eilish responded to a series of comments that followers had recently made about her photos on Saturday (May 27). Addressing those who said she’d “changed,” calling her “sold out,” she defended her choice to present herself the way she wants.
“Letter to some comments I see sometimes…” she wrote in an Instagram story.

“I spent the first five years of my career being completely obliterated by you idiots for being boyish and dressing me like I did and I was constantly told I’d be hotter if I dressed like a woman would behave,” Eilish reminded people.
She continued, “And now that I’m comfortable enough to wear something remotely feminine or appropriate, I’ve changed and sold out… and ‘what happened to her?’ OMG it’s not the same Billie she’s just like the others blah blah… people are real jerks. lol I can be BOTH you fucking idiots. LET WOMEN EXIST!”
“FUN FACT! Did you know that women are diverse!!!!!??? shocking right?? Believe it or not, women can be interested in multiple things,” Eilish wrote. “Also that femininity is not synonymous with weakness???!!!! omg?! Crazy, right? Who knew??”
“Suck my absolute C- and balls you women who hate A- maniacs,” the pop star concluded.
Earlier this month, news was confirmed that she had split from Jesse Rutherford after a seven-month relationship. She also recently officially released a short cover of Drake’s “Hotline Bling”.
