Incognito or almost: American pianist, singer and songwriter Billy Joel is walking through Quebec these days.
The 74-year-old musician was spotted at the bistro Le Pape Georges on Rue du Cul-de-Sac in Old Quebec. He was quickly recognized.
“I was stressed! It's impossible not to be a fan. He's shy and reserved. I think he didn't want to be disturbed,” explained manager Soni Lubaki, who looked after the star and his relatives.

The American was particularly accompanied by his wife Alexis Roderick, 41.
According to him, Billy Joel appreciates the fact that you can stroll around the capital discreetly. The absence of paparazzi on the streets helps fuel the love story between international stars and Quebec.
The artist would arrive on Thursday and stay at Château Frontenac until Monday. He is then scheduled to give a concert at Madison Square Garden in New York on Tuesday, December 19th.
On July 11, 2014, the living legend visited Quebec for the first time in his 50-year career on the Plains of Abraham for the Quebec Summer Festival.
