Jaxon’s mother Taryn-Marie GaineyHe had died last July. A few weeks later, the little boy started preschool at a new school for him, New Dawn Academy in Michigan. And in his “speech” at the end of the school cycle, the boy wanted to talk about her: “When I came to kindergarten here, I was a 5-year-old boy who had lost my beautiful mother a month before,” said Jaxon, taking a deep breath. “I’ve learned to play with other kids, read books, answer or ask questions, use correct grammar and use my school tablet.”

“My year in kindergarten – said Jaxon in his four-minute speech, which moved everyone present – helped me to become braver, smarter and kind-hearted.” The little boy thanked the teacher, describing her as a person with a “big heart” and added: “When I was sad, he told me that everything would be fine.” Then the thanks to the grandparents and to the father: “You are the best father ever and I love you so much.”

As revealed by his father, the boy worked on the speech with his grandmother, who before the ceremony did not allow anyone to read or listen to it. The man said he and Jaxon talked about their mother every day to keep their memories alive. And Jaxon will never forget it. How come they forget the words that all their loved ones dedicated to her?
