Blac Chyna is yet to pull out of a massive defamation lawsuit she filed against her ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian and the Kardashian-Jenner cohort five years ago, when jury selection in the high-profile case began Monday.
In the more than $100 million lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, former reality star, 33, whose real name is Angela Renée White, alleges the powerful family conspired against her to canceling the Rob & Chyna show, and that move severely hampered her ability to otherwise generate income, which of course would have come as an extension of her fame from the series and her social media influence.
Other alleged offenses listed in the complaint include assault and harassment by Rob, and defamation by his mother Kris Jenner and his sisters Kim and Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner.
Chyna and Rob started dating in January 2016 and got engaged in April.

Camera crews began filming the ex-lovebirds for their spin-off Keeping Up with the Kardashians, with the first season ending when they welcomed a daughter named Dream Kardashian — Rob’s first child and Chyna’s second.
However, it was in the middle of filming the second season of Rob & Chyna when the couple split and the series went into limbo.

A source at the time of their split in March told Entertainment Tonight that the couple were working on co-parenting their daughter.
“[Rob and Chyna] realize that Dream will bond them for life and it’s not worth it for them to fight and get dramatic about their breakup,” the source said. “They are forever linked through this beautiful girl, so there can be no bad blood. “

In the months following the show’s cancellation, Chyna filed a lawsuit against the family, alleging that she had E! Executives behind the scenes to withdraw the show despite its success and claims that “Rob & Chyna” would air a second season focused on the former couple’s life as co-parents of their daughter.
Additionally, in July 2017, Rob took to Instagram to accuse Chyna of cheating, alcohol and drug addiction, and exploiting his money. He posted a series of vivid photos that Chyna allegedly sent to him.

“You will never see Dream again unless you stop alcohol and drugs and cocaine and X and E,” Kardashian wrote in a post. “When was the last time you recognized your daughter? [has] was with me instead of in that crazy house you bring men in and out of[?] I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully by a woman in my life. A woman I just paid 16,000 rent and a Ferrari I just bought and a Lambo and 400,000 jewelry. Damned.”
He continued with screenshots of text conversations that allegedly took place between him and “one of the men, Chyna.” [has] been in the bed we lay in with our baby under the roof that I’m paying for.”

“Everyone wonders how Chyna lost all that weight after the baby and she lies to everyone but no I’m like that [a] great husband for paying 100,000 for this surgery on our anniversary to fix everything as best as possible,” read another post.
Rob’s Instagram was taken down later that day, but he switched social media platforms and continued his baiting on Twitter, claiming Chyna had a son named King “out of defiance” of her ex, rapper Tyga shares, had a baby with her.

At the time, Chyna hired attorney Lisa Bloom, who released a statement saying she was “proud to represent Blac Chyna as she stands up for her rights as a woman and as a mother against” Rob.
“Mr. Kardashian, you’re in the loop now: Revenge porn is illegal,” Bloom warned. “Cyberbullying your ex is harassment.”
The revenge porn lawsuit is scheduled to go to trial in early May.

Chyna has doubled down on her lawsuit against the Kardashians, reportedly recently rejecting an undisclosed offer of a settlement from family attorney Michael G. Rhodes.
Meanwhile, in a recent filing, Chyna’s attorney said that “[Chyna] is fully competent to testify on the terms of the contract, i.e. her talent agreement with NBCUniversal, of which she is personally aware, including the $92,500 episodic rate that will guarantee her payment for eight episodes following NBCUniversal’s approval of Season 2 and that she never signed or authorized any change to her talent agreement.”

The documents also break down what Chyna believes she owes her from the “lavish and underhanded” conspiracy to slash more than $100 million from her earnings — including $44 million in previous economic damages that the in the five years prior to the trial, totaling $5 million in alleged lost revenue from club performances, $7.8 million for two seasons per year of “Rob & Chyna”, $31 million in lost social media revenue and $64 million in future damages over the next 10 years.
The financial breakdown claim includes $11 million in television appearances allegedly lost, $7 million in club appearances and $46 million in social media posts.

Attorneys for both parties named in the complaint did not immediately respond to FOX Business’s requests for comment.

The Kardashians premiered April 14 on Hulu. The new series runs over two seasons with a total of 40 episodes. The new show follows “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” which E! Reality show that ended in June 2021 after 14 years and 20 seasons.
