Some last generation activists protested this evening in Santa Cecilia during the performance of Handel's Messiah directed by John Nelson. While one of them was filming the scene, three young people came onto the stage and sat next to the conductor's stand and the singers. The execution continued while room staff intervened to remove her, despite her passive resistance. The demonstrators wore T-shirts with various slogans: “Disaster Notes,” “The Show Cannot Go On,” “Repair Fund Now.”
The attack on the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome began at the time of Hallelujah.
