The Block’s Mr Lambo has surprisingly admitted he has never watched a single episode of the reality show.
Adrian Portelli, nicknamed “Mr Lambo” after showing up for auction day in a Lamborghini, admitted he didn’t know much about the show before visiting the properties of Omar Slaimankhel and Oz Abu Malik, as well as Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra bought.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, Mr Lambo said he was “definitely” interested in buying more log homes in the future.

“I have never bought block real estate. I haven’t even seen the show but I would definitely do it again,” said the 33-year-old.
It comes after Mr Lambo revealed to Chron Australia that he bought Sharon and Ankurs’ home to start his luxury rewards club – and not “just to clear his name”.
He has been accused of “bidding” on the record-breaking house of the winner of Omar and Oz.

On Friday, Mr. Lambo announced he was spending $4.25 million on Sharon and Ankurs’ home in a private sale after the auction and now plans to give it away for free.
Portelli said it took him just 20 minutes to make the decision to buy the home after Sharon and Ankurs’ agent contacted him that morning.
Portelli also made it clear he was buying the home for his luxury rewards club and not just to “clear his name” – after some viewers falsely accused him of being a bogus bidder.
“I don’t mind any of this. To me, that’s just free publicity,” he told Chron Australia.
Mr Lambo revealed he bought Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra’s (pictured) home to set up his luxury rewards club – and not “just to clear his name”.
The new development means that Sharon and Ankur, who faced a huge financial loss a few days ago, have made a profit of $170,000.
If you add in the Ford Everest they won on the show, they walk away with a quarter of a million dollars.
He also showed his interest in House 3, which was dated before the auction day when Sharon called to see if he wanted to inspect it.
Despite being impressed by their renovation, he didn’t place a bid last Saturday because he was suspicious of Omar and Oz’s property sale for such an exorbitant price.
When asked if he had a message for his doubters, he said confidently, “Sit down, shut up and enjoy the show.”
Portelli’s surprise purchase comes after Sharon and Ankur’s Gisborne home, which they spent months renovating amid seemingly never-ending trades wrangling and weekly budget blows, was handed over after it failed to meet its $4.08 million reserve
Portelli announced his purchase on Instagram Friday afternoon, sharing multiple photos of House 3 with the caption, “Well this is going to make some feathers rustle… Somebody wins one of The Block’s houses!”
He later posted a video on Instagram Stories addressing “all the critics” who doubted him and thanking his “haters” for the free publicity.
“For all the critics and haters, thank you. Big thanks for creating a platform where I can absolutely smack this out of the park. Marketing 101, babe. Let’s go!’ he said.
Portelli’s surprise purchase comes after Sharon and Ankur were left heartbroken on auction day.
Their Gisborne home, which they spent months renovating amid seemingly never-ending trade deal squabbles and weekly budget shortfalls, was handed over last weekend after it fell short of its $4.08 million reserve.
But they weren’t the only ones left empty-handed, as Jenny Heath and Dylan Adams were dealt similar cards in House 4 – and are yet to find a buyer as of Friday afternoon.
After the finale aired last Sunday, Portelli took to Instagram to deny rumors he was a bogus bidder.
“For anyone questioning the legitimacy of the auction, I was a genuine buyer with full intentions to purchase this property,” the businessman said.
“No one is to blame for what happened. It’s an auction. Believe it or not, but when you have two people who really want the property, a bidding war is going to start.
“I’m happy to show my bank account to anyone who suspects these were bogus bids.”
