LUXEMBOURG – Police found the body of a woman in a restaurant on Sunday morning. The trace of a homicide is not excluded.
Sonia was found in the basement of the restaurant where she worked.

The lifeless body of Sonia, 46, was found Sunday morning in the basement of the restaurant where she worked as a room manager, Avenue J.-F. Kennedy in Kirchberg. Originally from Petacciato in the Molise region of Italy, she had left her country for work. She had no children and had been living in Luxembourg with her partner for several years. “They wanted to get married soon. Italian media reports of a failed robbery with a beating on the head. It would have been the companion who would have sounded the alarm if he hadn’t seen Sonia coming home from work. The public prosecutor’s office contacted on Monday could neither deny nor confirm this information.

“The police drove to the scene of the crime immediately. According to initial findings, the intervention of third parties cannot be ruled out.
