After the body of country singer Ton Ferreira was missing since the 5th and was last seen in the Jardim Anhembi in São Paulo, it was found this Friday (December 1st) in a vacant lot. According to the civil police, the body of the man who apparently took his own life is in the Forensic Medicine Institute. (IML).
The case was registered as a “suspicious death”. The investigation remains the responsibility of the 6th police station.
According to the Secretariat of Public Security, Everton da Silva Ferreira, the artist's real name, had left for a performance in São José dos Campos and took the keyboardist home with him at the end of the show, but never returned.
The last time the musician made contact was last Friday, when he spoke to his partner Adriele Stephanie in the early hours of the incident.
When Ton's widow received the news of her husband's death, she made a statement on her Instagram profile and posted a series of photos there. “It will be my life forever,” he wrote, remembering the registration happened five years ago.
