Fourteen French airports received new attack threats on Thursday morning and “at least eight airports” carried out evacuations in light of those bomb threats, a source familiar with the matter told AFP.

Already on Wednesday, most major French airports, with the exception of two in Paris, were temporarily evacuated following threats, leading to the cancellation of 130 flights and countless delays. These alarms have been increasing in France for several days, especially since the attack that claimed the life of the teacher Dominique Bernard in Arras (Pas-de-Calais).
On Thursday, the evacuations affected Brest, Carcassonne, Rennes, Tarbes, Bordeaux-Mérignac, Béziers, Montpellier and Nantes airports, according to the source familiar with the matter.
Contacted by AFP, the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGAC) confirmed that “several national airports, including that of Nantes, received threats of attack this morning”, without giving a number or name, given the fluid situation.
Some airports have communicated on the topic themselves. Lille Airport announced late this morning that the airport would gradually reopen.
“Nantes airport was again the subject of a bomb threat this Thursday morning, as were other French airports,” the airport told AFP. “In consultation with government authorities, the terminal will be evacuated while the necessary checks are carried out.”
