It is without doubt the revelation program of this early 2023. We are talking about that “Boomerissima”, the Rai 2 show hosted by Alessia Marcuzzi that relives the fashions and novelties of the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s and compares them with the present. And yet, even in a context of absolute lightness, there is always room for controversy. To start it this time is Flavio Insina, the popular host of another legendary Rai show, “Avanti Un Altro”. Guest of the Marcuzzi, along with Paola Barale, Riccardo Rossi, Alessandro Tersigni and Adriana Volpe for the “Boomers” share, Insinna took advantage of the presence of one of the “Millennials”, namely Alessandro Egger, in the episode of January 31, competitor of the latest issue of Dancing with the Stars (one of the most talked about of all time) to throw a dig: “Do we want to have such a controversy? For me, Ballando had to win. Because the controversy makes you stay! Even Gabriel Garko deservedly won Ballando!”.
We therefore return to the controversial victory of Luisella Costamagna, awarded thanks to the votes of the jury but not the audience and able to win exactly according to the Italo-Serbian model. This sparked heavy criticism of the program directed and performed by Milly Carlucci, and frequent skirmishes between Costamagna himself and one of the most heated members of the jury, Selvaggia Lucarelli, at odds with the rest of the crew.
Flavio Insinna and Dancing with the Stars, a combination that is not unprecedented. In 2019, the Rai 1 showman actually performed at the track for a night Natalie Guetta, in a waltz on the notes of “Il Carrozzone”. This time the provocation was set in a context of lightness and amusement, but if it is true that there is a grain of truth in every joke, in this case too the echoes of the controversy resounded loud and clear.
