Boosie Badazz is a free man after posting $100,000 in bail in his federal gun case on Friday night…and we lucky caught him exiting a California jail.

The rapper was photographed sitting in the back seat of an SUV following his release from the Metropolitan Correctional Center in San Diego on Friday night – and BB was clearly delighted, smiling from ear to ear.

Check out the snap we took… Boosie just beams as he drives away with his chauffeur.

And he has every reason to celebrate after winning multiple court battles against prosecutors who wanted to keep him behind bars for the duration of his arms case. Prosecutors filed motions to deny his bail — but two federal judges ruled in Boosie’s favor, paving the way for his release from prison.

TMZ ran the story…Boosie was arrested charged by alcohol, tobacco and firearms detectives and charged with possession of a gun as a felon. Police first arrested Boosie in early May after a traffic stop found he allegedly had two guns in the SUV he was driving.

Prosecutors dropped their case the same day that ATF arrested Boosie in a San Diego courthouse and charged him with essentially the same crime, but on a federal level.

his lawyer, Megan Blancotells TMZ … Boosie is innocent and plans to dismiss the Fed case.
