Boris Epshteyn, a longtime adviser to former President Donald Trump, was arrested in 2021 after he was accused of repeatedly groping two women at an Arizona nightclub, according to police files.
Epshteyn pled guilty to the disorderly conduct charge in Scottsdale City Court after prosecutors dropped charges of attempted sexual abuse, assault and “repeated molestation.” He paid a fine and was serving a suspended sentence. His conviction was overturned earlier this year.
The arrest, which took place outside the Bottled Blonde nightclub in the early hours of Oct. 11, was first reported by the Arizona Republic on Thursday. Epshteyn is considered a top advisor in Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. On Twitter, he describes himself as Trump’s “senior adviser” and “special assistant.”
A club security officer stopped police early in the morning on October 10, 2021, telling officers women had complained that Epshteyn touched them inappropriately, according to a police report and body-worn camera footage released under the law were released over public records in Arizona. One of the women cried, as a video shows.
A woman told officers Epshteyn was particularly aggressive towards her 23-year-old sister.

The woman, who could not be identified, accused Epshteyn of cornering her and her 23-year-old sister at a bar
“All night he touched me and my sister, especially my sister,” she said over loud music during an interview recorded with the officer’s body camera.
“He sort of cornered her and grabbed her and it was like she was just really uncomfortable. ‘Touching her after we repeatedly told him to stop touching her.’
She said the club’s security told her they couldn’t kick Epshteyn out because he’s a big spender, although security eventually escorted him from the bar to the police.
“We have a high tolerance for weird people, but it went way beyond that,” the older sister told an official. “This guy was harassing women in the bar and the bar told us to go have a drink with him,” the woman claims.
She described Epshteyn as “fat, ugly, like a sagging face”. White Ralph Lauren polo. Like the fatter Tony Soprano.’
“Touch her chest, touch her hips, touch her crotch,” the woman can also be heard saying to the officer. She said she was ready to press charges, while her sister said she just wanted to go home.
Epshteyn denied wrongdoing but said little to police about the incident as he sat on a curb in front of the bar.
‘I have no idea what’s going on. “I have no idea who these women are,” Epshteyn told officers.
Due to groping, Epshteyn was denied entry to the Bottled Blonde.
Epshteyn was also charged with assault following a brawl at another bar in Scottsdale in 2014, court documents show.
He reached a settlement with prosecutors and the conviction was later overturned. The deal included community service he did in his home state of New Jersey.
The Arizona Republic reports that the 2014 arrest occurred near this recent incident in Scottsdale’s U District on Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row. He was accused of punching a man who was “significantly taller” in the nose, resulting in a bruise.
A longtime Trump adviser, Epshteyn was one of the key surrogates in the 2016 presidential campaign and made frequent television appearances
A longtime Trump adviser, Epshteyn was a key running mate in the 2016 presidential campaign, appeared frequently on television, and briefly served as senior White House adviser before becoming an analyst for the Sinclair Broadcast Group.
He has also been a major figure in Trump’s ongoing legal battles, both as an advisor and a participant.
After Trump’s 2020 defeat, Epshteyn worked with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani — another Trump attorney — on efforts to overturn the election results by organizing fake voters.
Last year, he was subpoenaed by the House panel investigating the January 6 riots in the U.S. Capitol and testified before a special grand jury in Georgia investigating Trump’s efforts to reverse his 2020 election defeat in that state close.
It is expected that a possible indictment could be brought against the former president in that case next week.
He also accompanied Trump to Washington last week for his first appearance in federal court on charges related to attempts to reverse his 2020 election loss to Democrat Joe Biden.
Earlier this year, Epshteyn appeared alongside the former president when Trump was indicted on 34 felonies in a hush money trial in New York – the first time in US history that a former president has faced a criminal charge.
When Timothy Parlatore left Trump’s legal team in May, he cited strategic differences with Epshteyn as one of his reasons and accused him of “doing everything in his power to block us, to prevent us from doing what we can.” do to defend the President”. It’s about the case in which Trump is accused of illegally taking confidential documents from the White House.
