Boris Johnson announced a $375 million aid package to Ukraine’s parliament against the Russian invasion

Ukraine will defeat Russia and become a free country againThe British Prime Minister said on Tuesday Boris Johnsonin a speech to the Ukrainian parliament via video conference.

Johnson, who heralded others £300 million ($375 million) in military aid to Ukraineincluding electronic combat equipment and a counter-battery radar system, made sure of that Great Britain will continue to supply Ukraine.

“Today I have a message for you: Ukraine will win, Ukraine will be freeJohnson said, according to a transcript of the speech provided by his office.

Johnson claimed Ukraine had “busted the myth of Vladimir Putin’s invincibility” in its fight against Russia.

“The so-called irresistible force of Putin’s war machine has crashed into the immovable object of Ukrainian patriotism and love of the fatherland”he indicated.

This is the best moment of Ukraine that future generations will remember and tell about. Your children and grandchildren will say so Ukrainians taught the world that the brute force of an aggressor counts for nothing against the moral might of a people determined to be free. They will say that the Ukrainians demonstrated with theirs Tenacity and sacrifice that tanks and cannons cannot suppress a nation fighting for its independence and that is why I believe Ukraine will win‘ assured the Prime Minister.

“When we see the heroism of the Ukrainian people and the courage of their leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy, we know that Ukraine will win. And we in the UK will do everything we can to restore a free, sovereign and independent Ukraine.‘ Johnson finished.
