It is a close ally of NATO, we have signed an agreement to strengthen our partnership and we have decided to support the development of tailored defense capabilities to help the country. We welcome efforts to support it from our allies as well, individually or in the EU format. It is important to support the most vulnerable countries in the face of aggression as soon as possible.” NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said while answering a question at a press conference on Russian threats to Moldova’s sovereignty.
