Montreal’s Steven Butler, who won his last fight earlier this week, will look to continue his good work in the arena during a gala scheduled for February 23 at the Colisée Desjardins in Victoriaville, where he will face Ontario’s Steve in the final Rolls will compete.
Butler (33-4-1, 27 KOs) triumphed by knockout over Ivan Alvarez. in the ninth round on Tuesday at the Montreal Casino and is well on his way back, six months after losing a world championship duel to Janibek Alimkhanuly in California. “I have to be the best version of Bang Bang to emerge victorious in this battle against Rolls [22-3-0, 12 K.-O.], I’m aware of it, and I’ll be there. The changes in my team have already produced results and in this fight we will see even more progress in my development,” said the Eye of the Tiger Management (EOTTM) protégé in a press release.

Rolls has worked with some of the biggest names in the division such as Gennady Golovkin and Edgar Berlanga. Last September he lost his duel against left-hander Austin Williams by unanimous decision and lost the IBF North American title.
