According to The New York Post, Brad Pitt and Adam Sandler are set to star together in a new Netflix film directed by Noah Baumbach.
The outlet reported that details on the upcoming feature are limited, but the film is in the early stages of development.
It’s part of 53-year-old Baumbach’s long-term deal to produce films exclusively for the streaming platform, which was signed last January.

The news follows lackluster successes from Brad and Noah as their last two projects underperformed.
White Noise, starring Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig, arrived quietly on stream in late December to mixed reviews.
Pitt’s Babylon, starring Margot Robbie, saw disappointing box office numbers, with the three-hour film grossing just $5.5 million domestically from a budget of $80 million.
But Pitt did see some positives last summer with the positive outcome of ‘Bullet Train’ and ‘The Lost City’, on which he starred alongside Sandra Bullock.

In September, Pitt announced that he and Bullock had an idea for a film that never saw the light of day.
The Hollywood couple had another film in mind, in which they would play mischievous QVC salesmen who argue on-air during their divorce.
The Fight Club star was asked to share his beauty secrets with British Vogue but didn’t want to, so the journalist asked how his regime had changed over time without being “too QVC”.
He said, “I wouldn’t know how to do that unless it was comedy.”
Then Brad, 58, said: “Actually, Sandy [Sandra Bullock] and I once tried to come up with a whole idea of a husband and wife team who were QVC’s top sellers, but we’re getting divorced, we hate each other, and we’re getting it on the air while we’re selling things… We didn’t get that far.’

Brad recently said he wants to continue working with the Miss Congeniality actress.
He remarked, “Sandy is an old friend. She’s a die-hard person that I’ve been able to ask for favors over the years and I’ve done many, many times, and she’s always there.
“Her timing was great, she was a great person to listen to in a situation like this, which is actually kind of intimate. It just worked really well and she had her film and I was allowed to do a bit of her. I think we will continue to do the same.’
