Brad Pitt calls Zahara, 17, “smart” after sharing Shiloh, 16, is “beautiful.”

Brad Pitt took the rare step of opening up about one of his children this week when he called his 16-year-old daughter Shiloh “beautiful” on Monday.

And later, the Bullet Train star, 58, made a comment about one of his other daughters, 17-year-old Zahara, while chatting with Vanity Fair.

“I’m so proud of her,” said the star, who shares six children with ex-wife Angelina Jolie. “She’s so smart. She will thrive even more in college.”

And the bachelor, who is dating Per People these days, added: “It’s an exciting and beautiful time to be finding your own path and pursuing your interests. I am so proud.’

The Oscar winner continued, “Where does the time go, right? You’re growing up too fast. It brings a tear to my eyes.’

He has three biological children with Angie: Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne. And three who were adopted: Maddox, Pax and Zahara.

This comes after Jolie said Zahara has landed a spot at the historically black women’s liberal arts college and will be relocating to Atlanta, Georgia in the coming months.

Sharing a photo of her daughter and some of her classmates, some wearing Spelman shirts, Angelina wrote on Instagram, “Zahara with her Spelman sisters! Congratulations to all the new students starting this year. A very special place and honor to have a family member as the new Spelman girl. #spelman #spelmancollege #spelmansisters #HBCU.’

The former couple’s eldest son, 20-year-old Maddox, was studying at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, although his classes went online and he returned to the US during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their second son, Pax, now 18, graduated last summer but is believed not to have accepted a place at college.

Meanwhile, the 47-year-old actress previously joked that Zahara is more organized than her.

She said: “I want to give them a bit of structure. I try to make schedules at home. My daughter Zahara is better at organizing things than me.”

She has also spoken openly about adopting some of her children and how exciting and wonderful their travels have been.

Also on Monday, at the Los Angeles premiere of his new action film Bullet Train, Pitt said that Shiloh was “beautiful.”

He shared with ET’s Nischelle Turner that the 16-year-old’s incredible dance moves are so good “it brings tears to your eyes, yeah.”

Shiloh was recently spotted on social media showing off dance moves with her friends.

“I don’t know where she got it from. I’m Mr. Two-Left-Feet here,’ he added, laughing.

In June, Shiloh was spotted wearing a black Beatles T-shirt as she danced to Doja Cat’s song Vegas in a video posted to YouTube by Los Angeles-based choreographer Hamilton Evans.

“Shiloh loves to dance. She’s very talented and has been going to these classes for a couple of years now,” an insider told Us Weekly.

“She’s also made some good friends through the dance community and they’re all in chat groups and sharing their favorite playlists and stuff like that.

“The teachers are all very impressed with her and say the sky is the limit if she wants to take it to the next level and Shiloh can easily do that.”

When asked by ET on Monday if he thinks his kids could act like him or Jolie, he said he just wants them to be happy.

“I love it when they find their own path, find things that interest them, and thrive,” Pitt said of his children.
