‘It messed up our schedule’: Aston Martin bosses claim Brad Pitt ‘left the team stressed out after overstaying his welcome’ during Grand Prix visit

Brad Pitt reportedly broke his reception during a visit to the Aston Martin garage during last month’s United States Grand Prix.

The 58-year-old Oscar winner spent time at the big Formula 1 event to prepare for a new role but reportedly left the team “stressed” during the stay.

Team Principal Mike Krack shared that the screen star and his team were there longer than expected, admitting that it “messed up our schedule”, according to Motorsport Magazine.

He is set to portray a Formula 1 driver in an upcoming role and was preparing for it at the Dallas Circuit of the Americas.

But it seems he ruffled a few feathers during the visit, as Krack told Sportzeitung: “You’ve been with us for a very long time, much longer than expected. To be honest it even messed up our schedule.

“We were a bit stressed at the time. We will support the project as best we can and see how we get involved. Team owner Lawrence Stroll was also involved,” he continued.

McLaren boss Andreas Seidl was also enthusiastic about the forthcoming project and said that it should be a “top gun for cars”.

The new production will be filmed during the 2023 championship and will feature seven-time Mercedes World Champion Lewis Hamilton as producer.

And according to Deadline, streamer Apple Studios acquired the new film ahead of its release.

During his visit to the Grand Prix, Brad left fans unhappy when TMZ released a video in which he faded out Sky Sports commentator and former driver Martin Brundle.

Pressure: “We were a bit stressed back then. We will support the project as best we can and see how we get involved. Team owner Lawrence Stroll was also involved,” he continued (Mike Krack pictured in July).

The jock tried to get the actor’s attention as he made his way through the crowd, but seemed snubbed at the awkward moment when Brad said his new film was “top secret”.

But the expert later posted a message on Twitter to reveal that Brad had come forward to explain the snub, sharing it was “nice” of him to message him.

He wrote: “I received a note from Brad Pitt explaining what happened to our near miss on the Austin grid. Unnecessary but nice of him.

“Absolutely no one is required to speak to me on the starting line-up, but as I strive to do 10/12 minutes of unscripted live sports television I have to at least ask.”
