Brandi Glanville has revealed that her face has become swollen due to the stress caused by claims that she touched Caroline Manzo inappropriately while filming Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.
The 51-year-old reality star, who last year called allegations that she touched Manzo's private parts a “fucking scheme,” said her ability to speak and taste food was affected by stress-related angioedema – a condition that causes a Causes swelling under the skin.
Glanville told Entertainment Tonight that her lips and face first began to swell in August, saying, “I had some health issues that affected my ability to speak and my ability to taste food.” Basically, my face swelled up – like I… constantly go into anaphylactic shock and I have seen seven doctors and their response was that it was stress induced angioedema.
“I cried on my birthday. It was November 16th. I cried all night and thought this was my new normal. I would just never look or feel the same. I just wanted to be this giant pumpkin head and be my mouth so to speak, even now I'm tired of talking.
That's why I didn't do my podcast for several months because I just had to stop and take breaks. That's crazy. “I took my health for granted.”

In October, the star was hospitalized after her face “exploded like a basketball.”
She tweeted at the time: “I collapsed at home this morning and my SON had to call 911 for help! You have no idea how much stress I'm dealing with.”
She claimed that the “threat of bad editing” on Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip left her so stressed that she “partially” collapsed and was hospitalized.
The star is now working with a plastic surgeon to manage her condition.
It was first reported last year that Brandi allegedly touched The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Manzo inappropriately during her trip to Marrakesh, Morocco, for the show.
The Bravo vets filmed Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club in January.
However, filming was abruptly halted midway through the season after Glanville allegedly kissed 62-year-old Manzo in a non-consensual manner several times during a party.
A week after these allegations surfaced, sources claimed that Glanville was drunk and touched Manzo in the area of her breasts and genitals over her clothing while the two were in the bathroom.

Glanville told Entertainment Tonight that her lips and face first began to swell in August, saying, “I had some health issues that affected my ability to speak and my ability to taste food. “My face would practically swell – like …constantly suffering from anaphylactic shock.”
The incident between Glanville and Manzo allegedly occurred during a private party and there were no cameras in the bathroom where the groping reportedly took place, but the women were equipped with microphones so sound could be heard.
Following the incident, both women left the series and Manzo said she would never return to the franchise following the groping incident.
Glanville has repeatedly said she was framed, denied the allegations and that it didn't go as reported.
She has called on producers to release audio of the incident to clear her name.

Brandi described the Girls Trips shows as a “Wild West” and detailed filming for 19 hours a day “fueled by alcohol.”
She said, “No, they don't force you, but they want you to do it and you want to please the producers.” I think you know when we're all exhausted and working 20 events a day for 19 hours, totally exhausted, it’s not a safe environment for any of us, and that’s exactly what the Girls Trips are.”
