“Brasserie chez PA”: PA Méthot is having fun with his friends

PA Méthot controls his first big set, Brewery in PA, A show that is similar to it because it thrives on humor, good humor and no-frills discussions.

This new event, produced by Entourage in collaboration with Quebecor Content, begins with the broadcast of two episodes on Thursday, September 14th and 21st at 8 p.m. on TVA, setting the table for the new talk show Martin Matte live, which will start in the same time window on September 28th.

The comedian who has been in the business since 1996 – he remembers everything, he says! – wanted a unifying, friendly record that focused on enjoyment.

“I wanted a show where it’s not too fancy, a place where we feel comfortable, relaxed and good-natured,” PA Méthot told QMI Agency.

“I’m not trying to reinvent the business. I do what I’m capable of and do my best, and it was a little new for me to lead a show, so it was safest to let me do it my own way. I think we found the right recipe,” said the man who also runs the reality show Cœur de Trucker on Unis TV and hosts on FM93 in Quebec.

“The heart of a trucker is not like putting on a show in front of an audience like Brasserie chez PA, with interviews, performances, travel and a lot of business. I’ve never done this before, but I have an exceptional team and we do it like we’ve been doing it for 10 years.”

PA Méthot, who is already looking forward to performing at festivals with his group next summer, doesn’t like ready-made questions. He prefers to rely on his quick wit, his instincts and his listening skills. “I like to have one foot in the air but not be too confident. I like between the two. That’s where I find my balance.”

The one who says he loves this “life”. [le] Surprise” is not afraid to “try everything.” He also regularly explores new passions.

Every week PA Méthot welcomes guests linked to a theme. For the premiere on September 14th, Nostalgie brings together Mégan Brouillard, Patsy Gallant, Jean-Marc Généreux, Dominic Paquet, KNLO, Peter MacLeod and Vlooper.

He welcomes Cathy Gauthier, Matt Lang, Dominic Paquet, Jimmy Pelletier and his partner Manon Bélanger, Annie Richard, Jean-Philippe Rousseau and Guylaine Tanguay to the second meeting on the topic of friendship.

These first two episodes were filmed at Madame Bovary’s in Boucherville. The next two, which will be shown on Thursdays, December 7th and 14th, will be filmed at the same location until the end of September.
