Brawl at Dumas Jean Joseph High School: Young Taïna died

It was a medical team from the University Hospital of Fort-de-France that announced the news to the father, who came to his daughter’s bedside on the evening of this Wednesday, November 23, 2022, as he has done every day since the daughter’s hospitalization. The 17-year-old high school student has been in a coma since last Monday (November 21, 2022) after a fight with one of her classmates from Dumas Jean-Joseph High School in Pointe des Nègres.

It is a sobbing father who confirmed to us this Thursday, November 24, 2022, the death of his daughter Taïma.

The young high school student has been in a coma since her emergency hospitalization last Monday (November 21, 2022) after a fight with one of her classmates from Dumas Jean-Joseph High School in Pointe des Nègres.

Her brain is beyond repair…they won’t be able to revive her. Other tests need to be done. I saw 3 doctors and a psychologist taking me aside to explain. But I have to understand what happened (…). Taina’s family and friends are devastated (…)

Antonio Saint-Aimé, father of Taïna
