The suspect, who went to the police herself, says she acted out of anger and threw him into the toilet. An investigation into attempted murder was initiated.
A 34-year-old woman went to the police in Atibaia, near São Paulo in Brazil, this Friday, December 22, claiming to have cut off her husband's penis, Brazilian media report. She told investigators that she mutilated him out of anger after discovering the adultery, says Globo.
The 30-year-old claims to have found out on her birthday that her husband had cheated on her with their 15-year-old niece. She allegedly waited until he got home before having sex with him. She said at that point she bound his hands with underwear, took a razor blade and cut off his penis. She then allegedly took a photo of her husband's genitals before throwing him into the toilet and flushing him, Globo said.
Her husband was taken to hospital injured while his wife went to the police, Correio Braziliense reports. The victim's condition was unknown. The case is described by police as attempted murder.
