The 54-year-old actor was joined on the red carpet by his longtime partner Jeanne Moore and his The Whale co-star Hong Chau.
His appearance comes after it was announced he was nominated for a Best Actor Oscar for his role in the Darren Aronofsky-directed film.

Fraser looked suave in a navy blue jacket and matching trousers as he mingled with other nominees.
The Encino Man star compensated for the navy two-piece with a crisp white shirt and black dress shoes.
Chau looked adorable in a white fringed dress with a silver satin skirt that fell to the floor.
Her dark brunette hair fell in glamorous curls down her back and chest.
Fraser’s longtime love Moore kept it classy in a black dress with spaghetti straps and a sexy slit down one leg.

Fraser is currently doing the rounds on the awards circuit after The Whale made its theatrical debut last month after months of anticipation from fans and critics alike.
It is based on the play of the same name by Samuel D. Hunter, and the playwright also wrote the film’s screenplay.
In addition to Fraser and Chau, the film’s cast included impressive performances from Sadie Sink and Ty Simpkins.
The feature centers on a reclusive English professor (Fraser) who tries to reconnect with his daughter (Sink).

He will compete against Colin Farrell, Bill Nighy, Paul Mescal and Austin Butler for the award, which will be presented on March 12.
