Dear readers, our favorite romantic drama Bridgerton is getting a 3rd and a 4th season!

We’re still awaiting news from Lady Whistledown regarding an official Season 3 release date – but we know it’s on the way.
Last April, Shondaland announced that Bridgerton had been renewed for Season 3 and Season 4 through a Special edition of Lady Whistledown’s Society Paper. “Dear members of the sound,” it says. “Bridgerton will be returning for seasons three and four. This author needs to buy more ink…”
Given that Season 1 premiered on Christmas Day 2020 and Season 2 was canceled a little later on March 25, 2022 due to production delays related to the coronavirus pandemic, we may have news about Season 3 sooner than last time listen (fingers crossed). . But since Season 2 focused on Anthony Bridgerton’s search for a suitable Viscountess, we can expect Season 3 to follow suit with Bridgerton’s third novel, An Offer From a Gentleman. Who will be in the Bridgerton season 3 cast?
Although we’re still recovering from the exit Regé-Jean Pagewho played the Duke of Hastings Simon Bassett in Season 1, more cast changes may be in the offing. Phoebe Dyvenor reprized her role as Daphne Bridgerton in season 2, although she was marginalized. So we don’t know for sure if Phoebe will return for Season 3.
However, one thing is certain: Jonathan Bailey, who plays anthony, and Simon Ashley, who plays Kate Sharma, will officially return as Viscount and new Viscountess to head the Bridgerton household. “We will be back! Kate and Anthony are just getting started,” she told the outlet. “There was a lot of back-and-forth between Kate and Anthony in season 2, there were complications with the family, and then towards the end they bond. I think everything is just beginning. I’d love to see Kate let go a little more and play more in Season 3 and kinda swim in this circle of love together. I think they both deserve it.
Simone continues: “She is now responsible for the household and has to put on big boots. I think she can. I definitely want to keep that softness and vulnerability in Kate, and she can share that with Anthony. I’m just happy that she has a home and a family. I look forward to seeing them grow. I think I’d love to see Kate be a lot braver and less headstrong and stronger-hearted.”
