As we begin the new year, we're excited to see more and more people using and loving Microsoft Copilot in both their personal and professional lives. Our goal is to empower every person and every company on the planet to achieve more by bringing Copilot, the everyday AI assistant, to millions of people around the world. With more than 5 billion discussions and more than 5 billion images so far, we have reached a new milestone in this mission. As Copilot becomes more popular and used, we receive valuable feedback to improve it. Two examples: First, there is a group of Copilot users such as developers, researchers, programmers and others who want faster access to the latest information we have to offer. Next, our Microsoft 365 customers want access to Copilot in Microsoft 365 apps for their personal use.

To meet these needs, today we're excited to announce new options for power users, developers, and anyone looking to take their Copilot experience to the next level. It begins with the introduction of Copilot Pro, a new premium subscription for individuals that offers a higher level of service for AI features, brings Copilot AI features to Microsoft 365 Home and Home subscribers, and other new features such as the ability , Copilot to create GPTs. We also take this opportunity to announce the general availability of our Copilot application for iOS and Android phones. Finally, starting today, we're excited to bring Copilot Microsoft 365 to more business customers by expanding access to businesses of all sizes, including small and medium-sized businesses.

Copilot Pro Overview: Increase your creativity and productivity

Today we are announcing the availability of Copilot Pro, a new subscription that offers the most advanced features and capabilities of Microsoft Copilot and is aimed at anyone who wants to enjoy their Copilot experience to the fullest. Whether you need extra help with writing, programming, creating, researching, or learning, Copilot Pro will help you improve your performance, productivity, and creativity.

Copilot Pro offers:

  • A single AI experience that works across all your devices and understands your context across the web, on your PC, in your apps and soon on your phone to give you the right skills at the right time.
  • Access to Copilot in Word, Excel (currently in development and in English only), PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote on PC, Mac and iPad for Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscribers.
  • Priority access to the latest models – starting with OpenAI's GPT-4 Turbo. With Copilot Pro, you'll have access to GPT-4 Turbo at peak times for more performance and soon the ability to switch between models to optimize your experience to your liking.
  • Improved AI image creation with Designer Image Builder (formerly Bing Image Builder) – deliver more than 100 improvements per day faster while maintaining excellent image quality with greater detail and a landscape image format.
  • The ability to create your own GPT Copilot – a personalized Copilot tailored to a specific topic – using a simple series of questions in our new Copilot GPT Builder (coming soon).
  • You can subscribe to Copilot Pro today for $20 per month/per user.

    Extending Copilot for Microsoft 365 to companies of all sizes

    While Copilot Pro is our best experience for individuals, Copilot for Microsoft 365 remains our best experience for businesses. Copilot for Microsoft 365 has been available to businesses since November last year. As we announced in 2023, 40% of Fortune 100 companies have participated in our early access program, and with companies like Accenture, KPMG and PwC having broad access, they are already using Copilot, which means Thousands of people across all industries have started working differently. with an AI-powered co-pilot at your side. Today we're excited to announce that Microsoft 365 Copilot is now available to businesses of all sizes with no minimum headcount. We also enable our partners to help every business become AI-ready.

    Today's updates are as follows:

  • Copilot for Microsoft 365 is Now available for small businesses with Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Business Standard subscriptions. It is possible to purchase between 1 and 299 licenses for $30 per user per month.
  • The obligation to purchase at least 300 licenses for commercial subscriptions was deleted and Copilot is now available to customers Office 365 E3 and E5 (Previously a Microsoft 365 license was required).

    New copilot features

  • Copilot's GPT – Today we are announcing Copilot GPT. Copilot GPT allows you to customize the behavior of Microsoft Copilot based on a topic that particularly interests you. Starting today, a handful of GPT Copilots are rolling out for specific purposes like health, travel, cooking, and more. Soon Copilot Pro users will also be able to create their own GPT Copilot using the Copilot GPT Builder. Stay tuned to learn more about this experience as we wait for it to become available.
  • Copilot mobile app – The Copilot mobile application is now available for Android and iOS. The Copilot app lets you harness the power of Copilot wherever you are, as your requests and chats are transferred between your phone and your computer. The Copilot mobile app includes the same features as Copilot on your PC, including access to GPT-4, Dall-E 3 for creating images, and the ability to use images from your phone when chatting with Copilot.   • Copilot in the Microsoft 365 mobile app – We're also adding Copilot to the Microsoft 365 mobile app for Android and iOS for anyone with a Microsoft account. This new feature will be implemented over the next month. You can access Copilot through the app and easily export the content you create into a Word or PDF document.   • Today's announcements allow us to continue to offer Copilot to more customers with more options tailored to their needs.
