A lot has happened since Brisa disappeared at the very beginning of the soap opera, but Núbia’s hatred for her exdaughterinlaw has never waned and only grew as Tonho’s (Vicente Alvite) custody case progressed. This plan worked for a while and managed to capitalize on everything she heard, but Brisa will find out what her exmotherinlaw is doing and will start making a plan to prevent her life from being exposed in this way . Núbia will be furious at the discovery, but she won’t give up on finding ways to find out more about Brisa’s new relationship and how it could benefit Ari in Tonho’s custody case.
It is not new that Núbia manipulates people, because in the next chapters of the series she will be discovered by Chiara (Jade Picon) on a call, but she will try to manipulate her daughterinlaw to forget what she heard in hoping to defuse the situation.
