British Airways pilot fired for ‘snorting cocaine off a shirtless woman’ before attempting to fly a plane: Married father bragged about drinking and drugging spree during stopover in South Africa

A married British Airways pilot has been fired after bragging to colleagues that he snorted cocaine from a topless woman during a drug-fueled orgy – before attempting to fly a plane back to the UK.

A shocked colleague raised the alarm hours before First Officer Mike Beaton was due to co-pilot a flight from South Africa to the UK after revealing his night of debauchery.

In texts to a stewardess, Beaton claimed he was “so damned I couldn’t even lift my head until he was 2 years old” after partying all night with a Welsh woman, a Spanish woman and local men.

The father’s behavior forced the airline to postpone the flight for 24 hours while it tried to find a suitable replacement for him, costing BA an estimated £100,000, reports The Sun.

When Beaton returned to the UK from Devon he was required to undergo a drug test, which reportedly came back positive. British Airways has insisted there is no risk to passengers and announced he no longer works for the company.

The first officer had been in Johannesburg during the downtime and was supposed to take over as co-pilot on the return flight to London.

But he told a colleague that things got out of control after he met a group of people at a nightclub in the city.

He said that after returning to the hotel for a “last date before bed” things got more intense and there was “a little bit of snogging and then we’re all kind of on our way to this guy’s apartment.”

He added: “Welsh has decided that I should actually be her boyfriend – Spanish has hooked up with one of the two local boys and is having her tits sucked on her sofa.”

The father then bragged about the “girls dancing topless” and decided to do the same before one of the local men pulled out some cocaine.

“So there’s a debate about whose breast is the best to reject,” he boasted.

“This is the story of how I snorted cocaine off a girl’s t**s in Johannesburg.”

However, he claimed the night didn’t end there, adding that he “slept over at Welsh’s for ages (I guess the coke played a role) and then was so shitty I couldn’t even pick mine up .’Head up away 2.’

An airline source told The Sun that managers were “furious” when his behavior was reported to them by his colleagues.

They said the pilot “pulled himself up by his own petard.” Although he would have had no alcohol left in his system when he returned to the UK, they added: “He will never fly again.”

A British Airways spokesman told Web: “Safety is always our top priority. “The matter has been referred to the CAA and that person no longer works for us.”

The Civil Aviation Authority told The Sun there are strict procedures in place for pilots abusing drink or drugs.

“An airline must inform us immediately if a British pilot has abused alcohol or drugs while boarding or on board an aircraft,” it said.

“In these cases, we would immediately suspend the pilot’s medical examination, meaning he cannot fly.”

“In most cases, the pilot is examined by a team of medical experts and, if he wishes to fly again, a comprehensive rehabilitation program is carried out.”

“Medical care would only resume if we were completely satisfied.”

When confronted by newspaper reporters, Beaton’s wife declined to comment, saying: “You need to talk to my husband about this.”
