Britney Spears just surprised all of her loyal admirers by publicly apologizing to her former lover, singer Justin Timberlake, on Instagram on Sunday.
“I would like to apologize for some things I wrote in my book. If I have offended any of the people I truly care about, I am deeply sorry…” the 42-year-old singer wrote under Justin Timberlake's video of him covering his hit “SexyBack” in an instrumental version , which was created with the help of children's instruments with presenter Jimmy Fallon and musician friends.
“I also wanted to say that I'm in love with Justin Timberlake's new song Selfish. She is that good. And how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so hard?” Britney Spears also wrote, adding that Justin Timberlake's “Sanctified” is “wow too.”
