Britney Spears’ husband Sam Asghari shared a clip of himself taking an ice bath on Wednesday, a day after the pop star made headlines for alluding to her past relationship with Justin Timberlake.
Asghari, 28, took to Instagram Stories to share a clip of him using a device called an Ice Barrel and filling it with water, ice and Epsom salts and stirring it with his arm before entering the barrel.
The Grammy winner’s wife, 41 – who denied she had an “insane meltdown” at a restaurant in Woodland Hills, California over the weekend – wore only black shorts as he adjusted to the freezing temperature inside the keg.

He said the exercise – which appears to have come after an intense workout he shared on the social media site – was “very comforting” as he jumped in a second time.
“Oh shit, it’s cold,” Asghari said of the experience, adding three hysterically laughing emojis to the post.
On Tuesday, Spears was feeling distinctly nostalgic as she took to Instagram to post some throwback photos with Justin Timberlake, who she dated from early 1999 to 2002.

The performer was reportedly spotted “talking gibberish” as fans tried to take photos of her dinner with Ashgari at JOEY restaurant in Woodland Hills on Friday, before he appeared to storm out of the house, TMZ initially reported.
However, Sam also spoke to a photographer on Sunday, explaining that his wife was just “frustrated” that fans were trying to take pictures of her at dinner.
“People are getting a little too excited to see my wife, so everyone is filming, doing their thing,” he explained. “But you know how it is, fame comes with territory and I went to get the car to get the fuck out of there and people just thought I left but that didn’t happen. So it is what it is, man.’
Asked if Britney – whose guardianship ended last year – had been frustrated by the situation, Sam added: “Yeah right – she felt frustrated and disrespected.”
