Britney Spears opens up about split from Sam Asghari for first time, admits she’s ‘shocked’ at the end of her relationship and ‘played strong for far too long’
Britney Spears has broken her silence on her split from Sam Asghari for the first time.
While discussing the end of her marriage, the 41-year-old pop star revealed to her more than 42.1 Instagram followers that she was “a little shocked”.
“Honestly I couldn’t take the pain anymore!!!” She captioned a video of herself dancing on Instagram. “In a kind of telepathic way I’ve received so many messages from friends that have melted my heart and thank you!!!”
She continued, “I’ve been gaming at full blast for far too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that!!!”
The mother-of-two went on to admit that while she “would love to show my feelings and tears on the internet,” she always felt the need to “hide” her “weaknesses.”
