Britney Spears’ rumored new boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz called her a “phenomenal woman.”
The Grammy-winning singer, 41, is reportedly close to Soliz, 37, who was once her housekeeper and has an extensive criminal record.
Following his court appearance for allegedly violating his probation, Soliz spoke candidly about the Toxic hitmaker, saying, according to Us Weekly, “She’s a phenomenal woman.”
“She’s a very, very good, positive… She’s a good person,” added Soliz – who has reportedly taken court-ordered anger management classes.
Soliz also revealed that the pop superstar is “doing great” despite her divorce from her husband of 14 months, Sam Asghari, 29.

Soliz then spoke about his criminal record, telling the publication: “I’m not a bad guy. “I understand that things have been said about me in the past and I have a criminal record – I understand. I am a working man. I own my own company. “I do tiling as a licensed contractor.”
The nature of Spears and Soliz’s relationship is unclear, as the singer described herself as “fucking single” in a since-deleted Instagram clip earlier this week.
Rumors of infidelity began circulating after Spears and Asghari’s split was announced. A source told Us Weekly that Soliz was actually fired “when Britney’s team found out they were sleeping together,” but later “came back into the picture.”
The insider claimed that Asghari learned about the incident through security camera footage.
In August, it was reported that Spears had “formed a close bond” and had been “spending time” with her former housekeeper since their breakup, according to Page Six.
The source told the outlet she was “concerned” about the evolving relationship between Soliz and Spears – who is fresh off a split from Asghari.
Soliz and the Toxic artist first met “about a year ago,” a source told the outlet. Soliz was hired to work at her mansion in Thousand Oaks, California, “cleaning toilets, mopping floors and picking up trash.”

Insiders told Page Six that Soliz was fired from her job with Spears, but she “still chooses to spend time with him and is not trying to hide her newfound friendship.”
The insider told the outlet that the Spears camp did not conduct a background check when hiring Soliz, who has had multiple run-ins with the law.
According to legal records viewed by the outlet, Soliz was convicted last December in connection with firearm possession while working for the singer.
Soliz was convicted of driving without a license in 2016, the outlet reported, citing court documents. A charge of driving with a revoked license was dismissed this year after a plea agreement, according to Page Six.
The media reported, citing court documents, that Soliz was convicted in connection with disturbing the public peace in April 2014; and agreed to dismiss a child endangerment charge.
Dailymail.com has reached out to Spears’ representatives for comment on the story.
Asghari filed for divorce from Spears on August 16. In a statement on his Instagram account, he wrote: “After six years of love and devotion to each other, my wife and I have decided to end our journey together.”
He continued, “We will hold on to the love and respect we have for each other and I always wish her the best,” adding, “That’s not happening.”
He ended his statement by saying, “Asking for privacy seems ridiculous to me, so I just ask everyone, including the media, to be kind and considerate.”

Spears and her second husband subsequently welcomed sons Sean and Jayden, 17 and 16, although they eventually divorced in 2007.
