Britney Spears ‘wants to mend her relationship with father Jamie’ amid acrimonious divorce battle with Sam Asghari
Britney Spears is looking to mend her relationship with her father nearly two years after the controversial guardianship he kept her under ended.
It has been claimed the 41-year-old pop star is worried about Jamie Spears’ health and doesn’t want to “regret having waited too long” to come forward.
According to TMZ, Jamie suffered complications after having a knee replacement 16 years ago, with Britney’s brother Bryan updating her on the latest health issues.
Jamie is said to be “excited” at the opportunity to rekindle his friendship with his daughter and harbors no ill intentions following their legal battle.
Britney is currently only in contact with her brother, with the rest of her family reportedly concerned about her well-being following her split from husband Sam Asghari.

She is still in the middle of a legal battle with her father, whom she is suing for abuse by restorers.
Jamie has defended his actions, claiming that without the Conservatory Board, Britney would be dead.

Britney has apparently once again become estranged from her whole family after putting things in order earlier in the year.

According to a source close to the pop star, Britney originally vented her “anger” in her book at the way her family members were handling her 13-year conservatory career.
