Interestingly, just hours later, Abbie posted a very similar update to her Instagram page, uploading a photo of herself snuggling up with her dog, Wally.
“My little best friend (uploading this while I’m still in this position)” she wrote.
The two women clashed last week after Abbie called Brittany on the radio about apparent slut shame.

Abbie lashed out Tuesday after learning Brittany had joked about her dating life during an interview with American rapper Yung Gravy.
While host Kyle Sandilands was the one to conduct the conversation, Abbie said Brittany was complicit in his “misogyny” by remaining silent.
Brittany posted a statement on Instagram on Wednesday, apologizing for her involvement in the “misogynistic” jokes and insisting she has always stood up for woman’s empowerment.

“I want to apologize for the underlying misogynist tones that the interview had,” she began.
“The nature of live radio is unpredictable and often unplanned, as was the direction of the conversation. Live on the radio I found myself in a position where Abbie and I were being played off against each other.’
Brittany, the co-host of the progressive, female-led podcast Life Uncut, assured her fans that she never intended “to make anyone feel embarrassed” about enjoying sex.
Masked Singer judge Abbie said the apology was inadequate and only showed Brittany’s “internal misogyny”.

The former Bachelor star also slammed Brittany for not taking a stand against her co-host Kyle Sandilands when he said Gravy had to “get in line” if he wanted to date Abbie.
“Live radio is difficult, but if I say something off the air, I text the person immediately. But you didn’t do that to show you weren’t ashamed after you did it. You didn’t realize the very clear issue until after I called you,” she wrote.
“Besides, you didn’t say as little as possible. You have added a comment. You weren’t silent. You asked if we had sex after Kyle asked if I sent nudes. You got me up a total of two more times [during the Yung Gravy interview].

“Don’t blame the segment and live radio. If you can’t compete in this environment, it might not be for you.’
A host of stars intervened in the fight with Laura Byrne and Megan Marx both supporting Abbie.
The pair hit her after it was revealed she would be fronting FBoy Island this week, leading them to question Abbie’s feminist credentials.
Abbie hit her on Thursday.

“Isn’t it interesting that the only people who have a real problem with this show are people I’ve called outright and mean,” Abbie began to rant.
“I can promise you that women are in complete control and know what is going on. And I help them know what the hell is going on,” she said.
She went on to claim that Megan and Laura have not delved into feminist or social justice issues in the past.
She hit back after Laura and Megan called Abbie a hypocrite for calling Brittany about her alleged misogynistic behavior – only to be revealed just two days later as the host of a troubled new dating show Fboy Island
“When have you ever heard her speak about feminist issues that were difficult to talk about?” she said. “When have you ever heard her talk about intersectional issues? When have you ever done anything for women or for social justice?
“Don’t be opportunistic and try to say that way, ‘I won.’ You were still sexist. Well done.’
“Remember that Laura’s whole issue with this whole thing wouldn’t have happened and she wouldn’t have felt defensive and upset if her co-hosts hadn’t shamed me and if she wasn’t scared of losing listeners on her podcast or.” Afraid it would make her name look bad,” she continued.
In another post, Abbie pointedly wrote to Laura, “Also being EMPLOYED by a show you (wrongly) think doesn’t fully empower women is worse than outright, blatant slut-shaming?”
“It’s so random! Friends hold friends accountable, I hope you did the same.”
