Broadchurch actor Andrew Buchan ‘leaves Downton Abbey’s wife Amy Nuttall and moves in with new co-star Leila Farzad’ after meeting on the set of BBC drama ‘Better’
Broadchurch star Andrew Buchan has left actress Amy Nuttall after forging a new relationship with his co-star in brand new drama.
The actor, best known for his role as Mark Latimer in the hugely popular ITV series, married Downton Abbey star Nuttall in 2012 and the couple welcomed a son in 2015.
But he is said to have left the family home and moved in with Leila Farzad after meeting the glamorous actress while working on BBC series Better, The Sun reports.
A source told the outlet: “It was a huge shock. Amy is heartbroken.’
Buchan reportedly told Nuttall that their marriage would end before Christmas, leaving the actress devastated and her friends in shock.

The source added: “Having Andrew walk away from his family has been a huge shock to all of us – and Amy is heartbroken. Everyone who knows her thought they would be together forever.
“But he packed his bags and left with his new co-star. Whatever happened, it seems it was enough for him to reevaluate his whole life and tear up their marriage.
“No one is sure of the exact details, but Andrew has clearly turned his head quite dramatically.”
Buchan plays a well-connected criminal alongside Farzad’s corrupt cop in new crime drama ‘Better’, which aired on BBC One in February.
London-born and Oxford-educated Farzad has previously landed roles in Law & Order: UK, Man Down, This Time With Alan Partridge and I Hate Suzie – a role that earned her a BAFTA-TV – brought in a nomination.

While on the show, she dated co-star Ben Freeman for more than four years before the couple split over claims he cheated on her.
More recently she played Ethel Parks in the BBC period drama Downton Abbey.
Ironically, the character loses her job at Downton’s sprawling estate after having a torrid affair with a duty officer.
