On Big Brother Brasil 24, Giovanna from Minas Gerais has to wear an orthopedic boot for five weeks after breaking her fifth metatarsal, a bone in the foot. After receiving medical care, the sister entered the house on crutches and was already unable to move.
The sister was injured during the first party and was treated this Thursday (11), hours before she faced the first wall of the edition in which she vied for public preference with Maycon (who was eliminated in the end) and Yasmin Brunet.

Giovanna is not the first contestant to need medical attention in Brazil's most watched house. In other editions, brothers and sisters were injured and had to be bandaged, immobilized… There were even people in detention who had to leave home to receive more detailed medical care. “BBB 24”
During the leader's first test, some participants were injured. MC Bin Laden, for example, left the competition with a bleeding leg. Vanessa Lopes limped out of the race. Beatriz even dislocated her shoulder. Deniziane, who won the competition, was also injured and her leg was bleeding.

'BBB 22'
During a party, Larissa injured her toe and had to be treated. After Pedro Scooby took her to the confessional, her leg was bandaged.
“BBB 21”
During a leadership test, Caio injured his foot and felt severe pain. After medical treatment, he discovered that he had broken a bone and had to wear an orthopedic boot for several weeks.

Also in the 21st edition and in the same race in which Caio was injured, Viih Tube tore his nipple, which had a piercing, and Arthur Picoli suffered a more serious injury. He also received medical care outside the home and had to be taken by ambulance to a hospital for more detailed examinations. At the crime scene he was blindfolded and wearing headphones so he could not hear or see anything. He then spent two weeks with his arm unable to move after dislocating his shoulder.

Pyong Lee cut his finger while cutting jaggery in the Xepa kitchen and required stitches.

“BBB 18”
During a test, Kaysar injured his toe while stumbling. He was treated, given a pain injection and finally had his foot bandaged.
Also in the 18th edition, Paula was injured during a leadership test when she received a violent “paint blast” in the face. She received medical attention.

Ieda fell face down on the ground as she walked. She was first “taken care of” by Marcos Hater, a doctor and fellow prisoner. Later, he also received medical care from production. She injured her hand, face and even broke a tooth.
