Bruce Springsteen is canceling the rest of his performances this year because of his stomach ulcer.
He is following his doctor’s orders and postponing the rest of his tour, including his Nov. 20 show in Montreal.
The 74-year-old rocker released a statement at the end of the year.

As a precautionary measure, all remaining 2023 Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band tour dates will be postponed to 2024.
The boss, who celebrated his 74th birthday on September 23, had already canceled several shows with the E Street Band earlier this month.
Wednesday’s press release, posted on social media, stated that the shows, as well as the concerts that were scheduled to take place for the rest of the year, will be postponed. The dates will be announced next week.
“When the new dates for 2024 are announced, those who cannot attend the new date and who purchased their tickets from the official ticket providers will have 30 days to request a refund. “All tickets for the postponed performances remain valid for the newly announced dates,” the statement says.
Bruce Springsteen needs further treatment until December. Since his European tour this summer, he has performed seven concerts in the United States, the most recent of which was Sept. 3 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford. In this performance, he performed 28 songs during a three-hour concert without showing any signs of health problems.
Springsteen gave his last concert in Montreal on March 2, 2008.
