Bruce Willis accidentally fired a gun on set after suffering from aphasia

MEXICO CITY – Since Bruce Willis was diagnosed with aphasia, on-set problems have increased, colleagues and directors say, including the unexpected firing of a loaded gun on the set of Hard Kill.

In an interview for the LA Times, actress Lala Kent revealed that during the shoot, Willis failed to follow directions and caused a gun to be fired at the wrong time.

“I have to think my life is ending and then my dad steps in to save the day,” Kent said.

Other colleagues also shared about the actor’s latest work, such as the production of White Elephant, who said Willis wonders what he’s doing on set.

“It was clear he wasn’t the Bruce I remembered,” said director Jesse V. Johnson.

On the other hand, filmmaker Mike Burns confessed that after the first day of shooting in Out of Death, he reduced the actor’s lines due to his condition.

“After the first day working with Bruce, I saw him firsthand and realized there was a bigger issue at play and why they asked me to cut their lines,” Burns explained.

Last Wednesday, Bruce Willis’ family announced his retirement from acting after he was diagnosed with aphasia, a disease that affects the ability to speak.

“Our beloved Bruce has a number of health issues and was recently diagnosed with aphasia which is affecting his cognitive abilities. As a result, Bruce will, with much deliberation, step down from the professional career that has meant so much to him,” the announcement.
