Emma Heming Willis recalled renewing her vows to husband Bruce Willis on Tuesday as they celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary … amid Bruce’s battles with dementia.
The 68-year-old action icon and his 44-year-old first tied the knot exactly 14 years ago – on March 21, 2009 – when Heming Willis revealed a friend had left her a bouquet of flowers to celebrate her Celebrating an anniversary earlier today.
She also returned to Instagram on Tuesday afternoon, sharing a touching throwback video from exactly four years ago in 2019, when she renewed her wedding vows to Bruce in a touching ceremony on their 10th anniversary.
The video featured Bruce and Emma’s two children, Mabel Ray and Evelyn Penn, serving as flower girls while Bruce’s daughters sang and played guitar at the ceremony with Demi Moore, Scout and Rumer.
The video also showed Stephen Eads performing the ceremony, while Demi Moore captured the video she shared on Tuesday.

“On our 10th wedding anniversary, we decided to renew our vows in the same place where we tied the knot in 2009. I’m so happy we did. Take every opportunity to gather and celebrate with family and friends,” Emma began.
“Those are the moments and beautiful memories that you can hold on to for a lifetime,” she added.
“And we can keep those memories safe and alive for those who may not be able to,” Emma added.

“At a school event for our kids, I mentioned to my friend that tomorrow is our wedding anniversary. Cropped, I get a text later that day from my friend saying she left “a little something” for me on my door. It was this cute bouquet (pictured) with a note that said Happy Anniversary, among other things,” she added.
Emma also spoke about struggling with her husband’s condition after he was diagnosed with aphasia in late March 2022 and it was revealed in February 2023 that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.
“I had to think about how difficult these kinds of ‘special occasions’ can be for caregivers. While normally our person would acknowledge the event, now their changing brains just can’t. And it is,” she added in the post.
“So my point is this. If you know someone who cares about someone else, don’t ask what you can do, just do it,” Emma added.

Just two days earlier, Emma and the whole family celebrated Bruce’s 68th birthday with a new video.
