Rumer Willis has revealed that her daughter’s first name, Louetta, came from a typo.

In an interview with People published on Tuesday (22Aug23), the Once Upon A Time…in Hollywood actress admitted that she and boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas found out their baby’s name through a typo had.
“We thought of the name Loretta and it was a typo. His dad and I texted and he forgot the “R” which led to Louetta. I said, “Oh, I love it!” It’s like one of those divine interventions and was discovered pretty early in my pregnancy. »

Though the actress “fell in love” with the name, she worried if it would suit her baby.
“What scared me was that I loved that name, but I was wondering if it was a good choice. And if after birth the first name does not suit him? ‘ explains Rumer Willis.
She praised the “versatility” of the name, explaining, “I fell in love with this name so early that I worried it wasn’t going to work.” But if she doesn’t feel like a Louetta, she can shorten it to Lou or Etta . She can change it all her life. Anything she wants.
