Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming paid tribute to her husband’s work in a moving tribute on Sunday.
The 68-year-old actor retired after being diagnosed with aphasia, but his wife is carrying on the legacy he left in film by celebrating the 35th anniversary of Bruce Willis’ legendary film Die Hard. Emma Heming has shared a video taken five years ago of the American star and the couple’s two children, Mabel and Evelyn, visiting the action film’s location.
“In 2018 [lorsque ces vidéos et photos ont été prises]”We took Mabel and Evelyn to the Fox area to look into the archives and see their father’s huge mural,” she wrote in an Instagram post accompanying the clip.
The video notably featured Bruce Willis posing in front of an impressive mural of himself. “This mural was unveiled in front of Bruce in 2013 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Die Hard,” she explained. Today marks the 35th anniversary of Die Hard when it first hit theaters and the rest is history.”
Emma Heming went on to praise her husband’s entire career. “What Bruce was able to achieve in his career will never escape us. We’re so proud of him,” she added.
Shortly after he posted his message, fans rushed to offer their support and express their admiration for the Hollywood legend. One movie fan wrote: “Thank you Bruce for entertaining us all these years! I wish you the best,” while another exclaimed, “His movies were and are the best!”
In March 2022 Bruce Willis’ family announced that he had been diagnosed with aphasia and last February they announced that he had frontotemporal dementia.
