Terror in Los Angeles for Vittorio Brumotti and his girlfriend Annachiara Zoppas.
The correspondent of Striscia la Notie, already accustomed to being attacked during his services in places of drug trafficking, was beaten and robbed “In broad daylight” in the Californian town on vacation.
Mediaset announces the news: “I’m here on vacation with Annachiara – Brumotti’s story –. I was filming my bike on the Pacific Ocean, the main coastal road, and in the distance I see two boys arguing. I decide to walk away, to change direction, but shortly afterwards I realize that four people on their bikes are following me.
“While trying to remove a friend of mine and Annachiara – he continues – they hit me on the head with the butt of a gun, throw me to the ground, throw me with kicks and punches, put another gun in my mouth and take away my watch and backpack“.
It doesn’t end here: “Then turn to Annachiara: I’m trying to react, but I was half passed out. At this point they decide to flee, throwing away one of the guns which I then find. Fortunately, the police intervened with various patrols and even a helicopter”.
Apparently, Brumotti thinks, “they’ve been ‘tagging’ me for a while, there were four black boys around the age of 20. I’m used to being assaulted, but What happened today is the record of violence I have ever suffered”.
