Kayky Brito was run over in Rio; Actor was dating Bruno de Luca

Presenter Bruno De Luca broke his silence after being accused of not helping Kayky Brito, an actor who was run over in early September in Barra da Tijuca, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
A witness in the case assured in an interview with Record’s Domingo Espetacular that De Luca knew that Kayky Brito was the person hit, which the presenter denied in a statement to police. As a result, De Luca was accused by viewers of not helping his friend.
Responding to SBT’s Fofocalizando, Bruno De Luca’s team explained that the presenter’s concern was the health of Kayky Brito. “Presenter Bruno De Luca has already made statements to the authorities about what actually happened to him at the time of the accident. His concern now is to monitor the development of Kayky Brito’s health,” the statement said.

In the images released by Record, De Luca sees the collision, distraught, but doesn’t get any closer. Afterwards, Bruno de Luca crosses the avenue where his friend was run over, goes to his own car and then returns to the kiosk where the two were talking before Brito was run over.
At the back of the kiosk, Bruno De Luca would have tried to speak to a space worker until a woman dressed in pink arrived. Then De Luca leaves town via the sandy strip of Barra da Tijuca beach.

In an interview with “Domingo Espetacular”, two alleged witnesses claim that Bruno de Luca knew that the person hit was Kayky Brito. One of them, the woman in pink, commented on the case. “For him to say he didn’t know is impossible. I warned him and said, ‘Look what happened to your friend, my God’. (…) I was in a state of shock,” said the woman.
