The office of the television presenter Bruno de Lucas commented this Monday 11 on the allegations that the presenter abandoned his friend and actor Kayky Brito after a clash on Saturday 2 of the previous week.
“Presenter Bruno De Luca has already made statements to the authorities about what actually happened to him at the time of the accident. His sole concern now is to monitor the development of Kayky Brito’s health,” the team said in a statement.
The case continues to be investigated by the 16th DP (Barra da Tijuca), under the supervision of delegate Ângelo Lages, who questioned De Luca’s behavior after the collision. The two were at a bar together until Kayky went to Bruno’s car and was run over on the way back. However, it was not the presenter who saved the actor, but the driver involved in the accident.
Contradictions by Bruno de Luca
In his statement, Bruno said that he did not know that the accident victim was Kayky as he had already said goodbye to his friend and gone to the bar to pay the bill when the accident occurred.
However, a new video of the accident was shown on the program “Domingo Espetacular” that contradicts this explanation. The video shows witnesses telling Record TV in a report that they told Bruno that the victim was Kayky.
Despite this, the presenter did not go to check on his friend’s condition or provide assistance, but crossed the same avenue where the actor was lying to go to his car, where Kayky had gone to get something. Bruno then hurriedly left the scene and left the vehicle at the scene. He didn’t pick up the car until the next day.
This information adds to the complexity of the case, which continues to be investigated by police.
