Bruno Tonioli wants to ‘triple his Strictly salary by joining Britain’s Got Talent’

Bruno Tonioli will reportedly triple the salary he was paid at Strictly Come Dancing by joining the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel.

The 67-year-old Italian professional dancer is said to have been handed a £850,000 payday since joining the show after beating out stiff competition including comedian Alan Carr.

Former strict judge Bruno replaces David Walliams, who left the show last year after ITV bosses who wanted Alan were overruled by boss Simon Cowell.

Bruno, who is said to be “delighted” to return to UK television prime time on Saturday night, will now triple his former Strictly co-stars wages.

Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel-Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke are believed to earn £250,000 per series on the Strictly judging panel.

An insider told The Sun on Sunday: “He’s managed to triple his salary for UK Strictly and prevailed against stiff competition from favorite for the job Alan Carr, who is friends with many of the cast and crew. “

Bruno will now reportedly be doing the same as his BGT co-stars Amanda Holden, 51, and Alesha Dixon, 44, when he begins filming at the London Palladium on Tuesday.

The source added: “Simon has been Bruno’s biggest supporter and believes he has a special screen quality that cannot be replicated.”

Web have contacted representatives from Britain’s Got Talent and Bruno Toniolo for further comment. You still have to answer.

It comes after a battle between Bruno – a close friend of Simon’s – and comedian Alan for the role. The show’s judges, Alesha and Amanda, were told the identity of their new colleague last week.

According to Chron’s Katie Hind, Bruno is yet to sign the contract but he was officially offered the job after a tug-of-war between ITV and BGT boss, who insisted he would take over the role after David’s departure.

Alan, 46, is said to be “devastated” at losing what he thought was his job.

Friends of the star said he said two weeks ago he would join the show from those close to him.

One told the Chron: “He’s trying to keep his head up, he thought he’d made it. It’s really disappointing for him. BGT really missed a trick, especially with the on-screen chemistry between him and Amanda. M

Meanwhile, a source close to the show said: “It’s one of the strangest events in show business in recent years. Alan was told he had the job and then Bruno’s name popped up. It’s so bizarre.

“Some ITV bosses are upset with the decision, their preference being Alan, as are most of those involved with the show, who were genuinely over the moon at the prospect of doing series with them. They all wanted him but Cowell was against it, he wanted his friend.’ Tonioli joining BGT means there are now two former Strictly judges on the panel – something ITV bosses are said to object.

What a shame: Alan is said to be

What a shame: Alan is said to be “devastated” at losing the job he thought was his.

He thought he had the job – and had even started making arrangements for his canvas attire – until he saw reports that Bruno was also ready to take on the job.

David, 51, was forced to leave the show after ten years last year after making obnoxious remarks about the contestants at the 2020 auditions.

In November, it was reported that David had resigned from his role, although sources close to the show said he “jumped before he was pushed”.

His exit came after he called an older contestant an ac**t and made vile sexual comments about a woman attending January 2020 auditions at the London Palladium.

In one incident, captured by the show’s microphones, an older cast member engaged in lighthearted banter with the judges, making fun of David.

After the audition, the pensioner left, three times David is said to have referred to him as ‘C**t’.

In another incident, after a contestant left the stage, David remarked, “She’s like that slightly boring girl you meet at the pub and you think you want to fuck her, but you don’t.” He later added, “I know she’s just like, ‘Oh damn it!’ I said she thinks you want to fuck her but you don’t.

“It’s the last thing on your mind but she’s like, ‘Yeah, I bet you do!

,No, I will not do that! I had a little ab***r, but it’s ok now, it’s shriveled up in my body now.

David, one of Britain’s best-known television personalities and children’s book author, has had to apologize for his outbursts – but he insisted they were private conversations.
